Oasis E System Updates and Workflow Modifications – Sandata Point of Care (SPoC)

This article will help you to:

• review the Medicaid changes in regard to the January 1, 2023 update

The Oasis E assessment has been deployed in both SPoC and Sandata Agency Management and will be created when a MOO90 date of 1/1/2023 or later is used. The document has been updated with CMS guidance on each OASIS question and includes the item intent, rationale, specific instructions, and coding instructions. This information will provide needed support and self-service education as your team is learning and gaining experience using this assessment. In addition, you will find that we have enhanced the assessment tool to include skip patterns which will be very helpful to your clinicians.

It is important to note that in SPoC the document version is driven by the “Date Assessment Completed” field on the Quick Start Menu not the Visit Date. If you do not see the “Date Assessment Completed” field, please contact us at [e-mail].
