Managing Saved Report Layouts
Once you have saved your layout you can make a copy of it, change permissions, rename it, delete it, etc.
To manage a saved layout:
Select Reports in the menu pane.
Select + Add Report.
Select the object that you want to manage the layouts for.
Note: You may need to clear the search box to find the object you want.
- Select the three dots next to the report layout you want to manage.
Depending on your security permissions to the report layout you can:
- Copy the report layout. This option is always available for any report layout.
- Rename the layout if it is not a Standard report layout (Lock icon next to its name), you are the owner of the report layout or have Change/Delete permissions to it.
- Change Permissions of the report layout if you are the owner of the report layout so that others cannot view it or modify it.
- Delete the report layout if it is not a Standard report layout (Lock icon next to its name), you are the owner of the report layout or have Change/Delete permissions to it AND it is not saved with a report.
- Change Owner if you have Change Ownership permissions you can change the owner of the report layout to another user. See Changing Ownership.
- Copy to Structure if your agency licenses multiple databases and you want to copy the report layout to the structure database so it can be copied to the other databases.The report layout will be available in the other databases after they are updated.
