Sandata offers two ways to host the ProviderPro application: Citrix Virtual Environment and On-Premise Environment. The purpose of this guide is to compare both options and assist customers in determining the best fit for their organization.
Citrix Virtual Environment
A Citrix Virtual Environment is a setup in which Sandata provides and manages a virtual environment from which ProviderPro can be accessed. In this setup, the Citrix infrastructure and related services are hosted on Sandata's servers, enabling users to access the Citrix environment remotely from any location with internet access.
On-Premises Environment
A On-Premises Environment is a setup in which the hardware, software, and supporting infrastructure are maintained on-site by your IT staff and your organization is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and management of your own hardware, user endpoints, servers, networking, and the ProviderPro backend maintenance.
