Basic Filters

Basic Filters

When you are using the basic filter mode all the filters that are toggled on, must match to be included in the results. In the Basic mode, you cannot change the operator, filter on children/child properties or create report groups. To use these advanced filter features, you need to toggle Use Basic Filters off.

To use Basic Filters:

  1. Open the Filters tray.
  2. Toggle Use Basic Filters on.

If Use Basic Filters was off (the default setting), you will see a warning message that any advanced filter features in use will be lost. Select Yes to continue.

  3. Turn existing filters on, off or delete them completely:

1The filter is turned on when switch is on the right.
2The filter is turned off when switch is on the left.
3Select the X to remove the filter completely.
  4. Click the Filter + icon to add another property as a filter.

  5. Select the property to filter on. If the property doesn't appear in the drop down, start typing its name.

  6. Enter the value you want the results to match and select Apply.

  7. Select the X in the upper right corner to close the filters tray.
