The first step in your journey in getting a Medicaid ID is to take the required course.
Follow the steps below to take your required online training.

- On the Log-In screen, select Sign Up.
2. On the Create an account screen, fill in your name and email address. Use the same email address you use for your Ohio ID. Create a password and select Sign Up.
3. You will be taken to your Sandata Learn Dashboard. Here you will see the required course that you need to complete. Complete the course and follow the instructions on the onboarding checklist that you will find in the Agency and Independent Provider Courses.
Alternate Enrollment Process
If for any reason the link does not work, you can go to www.sandatalearn.com and register via the enrollment form.

On the Log-In screen, select Sign Up.
- On the Create an account screen, fill in your name and email address. Use the same email address you use for your Ohio ID. Create a password and select Sign Up.
3. Complete the Profile Form with your Medicaid ID and your Provider ID number. If you do not know these numbers, enter 111111.
4. Click Select a Role and choose from the drop-down menu the role that best matches yours.
Important! Agency Admins, Managers, and Independent Providers should select the first option, Agency Admin/Manager.
5. Under state, select Ohio.
6. Select the product you will be using:
- Agency EVV: For Agency Providers
- Non-Agency EVV: For Independent Providers
- Alt EVV Aggregator: For Alt EVV Providers
Click Submit.
7. You will arrive at the Sandata Learn dashboard. If your courses do not load immediately, simply refresh your browser. Happy Learning!
