Frequently Asked Questions - DOMO / BI

  • How often is the BI data refreshed?

    • Currently, once a day during the overnight.

 

  • Can I view data outside of the BI tool?

    • Yes, you can download the data into Excel or PDF to include in your analytics suite or sharing with other teams in the organization.

 

  • Can I get a full data extract delivered to me on a defined frequency? 
    • There is an additional fee for this full data extract.
    • We can setup a SFTP process for a full feed of the data, but there is an additional fee.
    • Please contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or the Accounting team.

 

  • We have a DOMO account. Can we use our pre-existing DOMO account?

    • No, you need to sign in through Sandata to access your DOMO BI account.

 

  • Can I add additional users?

    • Yes, we are currently working on a way to make this easier.  Go to this web form and select: 

      • What can we help you with today? > User Access Request > New User

    • Once you fill in all of the required fields and submit the form, the Customer Support team will then begin to process your request.

 

  • If we have a new location, how do I request access?

    • Please log out and relog in. If it does not work, please refresh your web browser.
    • If still not working, complete this web form to create a ticket.

  • We have a new location. How do I make sure that my data set is refreshed and reflective of the new location?

    • Please log out and relogging. If it does not work, please refresh your browser.

  • Can I create (or request for Sandata to create) custom dashboards?

    • Unfortunately, building custom dashboards is not currently an option.

  • How can I get more DOMO training?

 

  • Do you have an explanation on the cards?

    • To access the DOMO Card explanation, the user will need to log into their DOMO account. On the I/DD Dashboard, in addition to the product dashboards, there is a Documentation Dashboard. The user can click on this dashboard and review the explanations for each dashboard.

 

  • What are the technical requirements for using the tool?

    • DOMO Dashboards offer versatile accessibility with both web and iOS versions. Seamlessly transition between platforms for detailed insights, ensuring flexibility and convenience in monitoring and decision-making.

 

  • System Requirements for Web Version

    • You must have a web browser to use Domo on a desktop or laptop computer. Domo supports the two most recent non-beta versions of the following browsers:
      • Google Chrome *
      • Mozilla Firefox *
      • Microsoft Chromium Edge (Old Edge Version 44 is not supported)
      • Safari (Mac)
      • * Recommended
    • The following settings are also required:
      • JavaScript enabled
      • Popups enabled
      • Cookies enabled

  • System Requirements for iOS Version
    • For security purposes, Domo supports devices running on the latest iOS. We then typically support the current version of iOS minus 6-12 months. This would mean when iOS 15 comes out, we will support that version and all devices running on it as well as iOS 14 for 6-12 months.   • System Requirements for Android Version
    • Domo currently supports all devices running the latest Android or Android 10 and later.
