Vets 4212 Reporting
The “Vets 4212” report returns the counts of the employees who are protected vets by job category for the date entered.
You can run the Employee Active/Employment Status Discrepancies report, which will show employees that are marked Active and have a termination date and Employees that are marked inactive, but do not have a termination date. If any employees appear in this report, you need to update the employee's hire/rehire/termination dates so that this eport returns an accurate count.
To find the “Vets 4212” report, select Reports from menu pane and enter "vet" in the Search box.
Select the Vets 4212 report, enter a Date in the settings and Run Report.
The Vet 4212 report contains the information described below:

| Job Category | This is based on the EEOC Job Category assigned to the Job Title setup list item associated with the employee’s job title that is marked primary on the Employment Information tab on the Job Titles card. |
| Employees | The total number of employees that have a primary job title with the job category associated with it. |
| Protected Veterans | The number of employees with a primary job title in that job category who have the Protected Veteran check box marked on the Other Demographic Information card on the Demographics tab of the employee. This check box appears when the Veteran Status is set to Yes. |
| Employees Hired in the Last 12 Months | The total number of employees that have a primary job title with the job category associated with it who were hired in the last twelve months based on the compare date. |
| Protected Veterans Hired in Last 12 Months | The number of employees with a primary job title in that job category who have the Protected Veteran check box marked on the Other Demographic Information card on the Demographics tab of the employee who were hired in the last twelve months based on the compare date. |
| Highest Monthly Employee Count | This is calculated by comparing the number of active employees for each of the 12 months in the last 12 month period and then showing the highest number. |
| Lowest Monthly Employee Count | This is calculated by comparing the number of active employees for each of the 12 months in the last 12 month period and then showing the lowest number. |
