Third-Party Qualifications

If you use a third-party tracking system for your training requirements, you can import the qualifications into ProviderPro and then sync them to Staff Scheduling.

You will only need to import these qualifications one time, and then you can manually add new ones as they come along. Once you have your list of qualifications set up, then you can import the employee qualifications.

To import third-party qualifications:

Task:
  1. Log in to your ProviderPro live database.
  2. Choose Tools > DataPlus Sync > Third-Party Qualifications.

    Step Results: The Third-Party Qualifications form will open in a new window tab.

  3. Go to the Import/Export menu and select Create Template.
  4. Select Create New Configuration and click Next.
  5. Leave all the data properties selected and click Next.
  6. Enter a file name and click Create Template.
  7. Click Finish.
  8. Open the Template in Excel.
  9. Enter the name of the qualification in the Description column.
  10. Enter TRUE in the Active column.
  11. Leave the ID and Owner columns empty.
  12. Save the template and exit Excel.
  13. In ProviderPro, go back to Tools > DataPlus Sync > Third-Party Qualifications.
  14. Go to the Import/Export menu and select Import.
  15. Click Browse, select the template file and then select Begin Import.
  16. Click Commit.
  17. Click Finish.

The third-party qualifications will automatically sync to Staff Scheduling overnight or you can Request a Sync.
