Creating a Batch

Creating an invoice to be billed is known as creating a batch.  A batch is a group of verified visits that you will bill for in the claims process. 

  1. Begin by navigating to the Billing module, select Visits.

        2. On the Visits page, select the date range to Sync visits to be added to a batch.

        3. Use these filters to search for visits to add to a batch. As a note, a batch can include multiple payers.

        4. In the field Billing Exceptions, choose Visits without Exceptions. These visits are ready to be billed and are free of Billing Exceptions.

      5. Now select visits by checking the check boxes. You can use the select-all checkbox next to Client Name.

      6. If all things are correct, proceed to save the batch by selecting Save Batch

          This is the first step to get visits ready to submit as claims.
