Recipients who will be receiving services for an extended period can have Recurring Schedules created for them. This saves time by preventing you from having to schedule a recipient every time they need to receive service. The Schedules tab allows you to schedule each day of the week by time and by DCW/Employee.
- From the Recipient module, locate your recipient and open their profile.
- Select the Schedules tab.
- Select CREATE TEMPLATE.
- Choose the Service to be provided during the visit, the Event Code, and Bill Type. Next, select the Day(s) of the event and select the Start Time and End Time. You may enter a DCW/Employee for this schedule, but it is not required to create a template.
- Select Add Event to generate the schedule template for two weeks into the future.
- Then, choose the end date for this schedule template. Once you have chosen the end date, select Generate.
- Note: The schedules will be created for the following week and not the current week. For example, if you create a schedule template on Tuesday, the schedules will be create starting the following Monday.
You’ll be able to view the weekly schedule and the end date. To edit the end date, select Generate. Select Delete Template to delete all events created in this template.
- To expand a day’s schedule, select the arrow in the upper right corner of the box. In the image below, “Unassigned” shows that a DCW/Employee was not assigned.
- Select Add Event to add another service to be scheduled. Select Add Week to create another week in the template.
Tip: Go to the Scheduling module to view and edit all schedules.
