Acknowledging and Unacknowleding Warning Flags
If a transaction has the orange diamond warning flag () on it in the Hours graph or next to it in the Other Hours, Mileage or Expenses grid, then the transaction has a warning flag that needs to be acknowledged (or the warning condition corrected) before the transaction can be approved. Both Review Log and Approve Log Managers can acknowledge and unacknowledge warning flags.
To acknowledge or unacknowledge a warning flag:
-
Click Staff Log or Service Location Log in the menu and then select the appropriate Staff or Service Location card.
Step Results: The Staff Log or Service Location Log screen opens.
-
Select or tap a block on the Hours graph or click the Open link next to a transaction in n the Other Hours/Amounts grid, Mileage grid or Expenses grid (Staff Log only) that has a warning flag.
Step Results: The transaction opens in a pop-up.
-
Select Acknowledge to acknowledge an individual warning flag or Acknowledge All to acknowledge all the warning flags on this transaction.
Step Results: A check mark appears in the orange diamond icon (
) to indicate the warning has been acknowledged.
If you acknowledge a warning by mistake, you can click Unacknowledge or Unacknowledge All to reset the warning flag (if the transaction has not been approved).
-
If you think the flag is not valid, select Recheck Flags to run the flag checker again.
