Viewing the Service Delivery Limit Status
The administrator, service location approver, service location reviewer, and service location viewer can all view the status of the clients’ services limits as well as how many hours have been served and how many hours remain for the date range.
To view the status of a client’s service limits:
Select the arrow next to Service Location Log in the menu pane and select Service Limits.
Select one of the quick filters above the grid, set a filter, or use the search to find the service limit that you are looking for.
Review the data:
This Field: Shows: Hours Served The number of hours the client has received of this service for date range of the service limit. This number is auto calculated as staff log time for the client and service (and service location if set) for the date range, Hours Remaining The number of hours served subtracted from the limit. This number auto-calculates, if the date range of the service limit changes or the limit changes and as more hours are logged for the client and service (and service location if set). Status If the Service Limit is in an active service period (current date is within the service limit begin/end dates), the possible statuses are:
On Track (green) - the current date is within x% (as defined in Options) of the number of days at the start of the service period and the hours are within x% (as defined in Options) over/under when compared to the number of hours that should be served at this time of the service period (e.g., If the setting is 10% and the limit for service period is 100 hours and we are halfway through the service period, then we should be at roughly 50 hours served. If we have served between 45 and 55 hours so far, we are on track.)
Trending Under (blue) - hours are beyond x% (as defined in Options) under when compared to number of hours that should be served at this time of the service period (e.g., If the setting is 10% and the limit for the service period is 100 hours and we are halfway through the service period, then we should be at roughly 50 hours served. If we have served less than 45 hours so far, we are trending under.)
Trending Over (yellow) - hours are beyond x% (as defined in Options) over when compared to the number of hours that should be served at this time of the service period (e.g., If the setting is 10% and the limit for the service period is 100 hours and we are halfway through the service period, then we should be at roughly 50 hours served. If we have served more than 55 hours so far, we are trending over.)
Over Utilized (red) - The number of hours served is greater than the limit.
Service Period Not Started Yet (current date is before the service period begin date):
Not Started (green)
Inactive Service Period (current date is after the service period end date):
Within Utilization (green) - hours were within x% (as defined in Options) under (e.g., If the setting is 10% and the limit is 100 authorized hours for service period, then the utilization was between 90 and 100 hours).
Under Utilized (purple) - hours were beyond x% (as defined in Options) under (e.g., If the setting is 10% and the limit is 100 authorized hours for service period, then the utilization was below 90 hours).
Over Utilized (red) - hours were over by any amount (e.g., if the limit is 100 authorized hours for the service period, then the utilization was over 100 hours).
