Clients
Set up each client that your staff will be documenting services for in Service Log or scheduling to in Staff Scheduling.
To set up clients to sync to the DataPlus web apps:
- Log in to your ProviderPro live database.
- Choose Client Management > Clients.
Step Results: The Client form opens in a new window tab.
Enter the code or description of the client in the Toolbar Lookup and press Enter.

Make sure the Active check box and Use In Billing/Day Services check box are selected.
Note: Do not change the client's code after syncing. This will create duplicate clients in DataPlus.
- Click the Billing Info tab.

Make sure the correct Billing Client Type and Default Billing Cost Center is set.
The Client's Default Billing Cost Center determines the Review Group the client will be associated with in Service Log.
- Click the Client Contracts tab.

Double-click a contract to open it.
The Billing Cost Center of the Active or Pending Client Contract Details also determines which Review Groups this Client is associated with.
- Click the DataPlus Sync tab and make sure the Sync to DataPlus check box is selected.

Select the binoculars icon to upload the photo or avatar that you to appear in DataPlus for this client, if desired.
You can copy the photo from the Main tab to use as the Avatar, if desired. To do so, from the Processes menu select either Copy Photo DataPlus Avatar (for selected client) or Update All Missing DataPlus Avatars (for all clients).
- Select the Excluded Time Service Types tab and add (or remove) and time service types that this client does not receive that others at the same service locations can.
- Select the Excluded Unit Service Types tab and add (or remove) and unit service types that this client does not receive that others at the same service locations can.
- When finished, click Save on the toolbar to save the client.
The clients automatically sync to DataPlus overnight or you can Request a DataPlus Sync to force a sync.
