DataPlus Staff Groups

Context:  

You can sync Staff Groups and the associated staff, staff managers, approve log managers, review log manager and view log managers from ProviderPro.

Task:

To manage the staff groups that sync from ProviderPro:

  1. Log in to your ProviderPro live database.
  2. Choose Tools > DataPlus Sync > DataPlus Staff Groups.

    The Staff Group form will open in a new window tab.

  3. Click Add or enter the code or description of the Staff Group in the Toolbar Lookup and press Enter to open it.
  4. Complete the following information:

    In this field: Enter:
    Description A description of the staff group.
    Active The staff group is in use.
  5. In the Staff many-to-many, add (or remove) the Staff to (or from) the Selected column that belong to this staff group.

    Important: Only Employees that have the Sync to DataPlus check and have either the Use Staff Scheduling as Staff check box selected or have a Time Tracking Staff Permission Group set will appear in the Available column.


  6. Select the Selected StaffManagers tab to select the staff that will manage the staff in this staff group.

  7. Select the Staff Managers in the Available column that you want to assign to this Staff Group and click Add to move them to the Selected column.

    Important: Only Employees that have the Staff Manager for list set to Selected will appear in the Available column.

  8. Select the Selected Approve Log Managers tab to select the staff that will approve the log entries for the staff in this staff group.

  9. Select the Approve Log Managers in the Available column that you want to assign to this Staff Group and click Add to move them to the Selected column.

    Important: Only Employees that have the Staff Log Approver for list set to Selected will appear in the Available column.

  10. Select the Selected Review Log Managers tab to select the staff that can review the log entries for the staff in this staff group.

  11. Select the Review Log Managers in the Available column that you want to assign to this Staff Group and click Add to move them to the Selected column.

    Important: Only Employees that have the Staff Log Reviewer for list set to Selected will appear in the Available column.

  12. Select the Selected View Log Managers tab to select the staff that can view the log entries for the staff in this staff group.

  13. Select the View Log Managers in the Available column that you want to assign to this Staff Group and click Add to move them to the Selected column.

    Important: Only Employees that have the Staff Log Viewer for list set to Selected will appear in the Available column.

  14. When finished, click Save.
