A ‘Payroll Hours less than Scheduled Hours’ exception shows visits with fewer actual hours worked than scheduled for both billing and payroll.
Resolving a Payroll Hours Less Than Scheduled Hours Exception
Correct Bill/Pay Hours
If the employee worked less than the scheduled visit time but the calculated Bill/Pay Hours are correct:
1. Select the Override(Ovrd) check box.
Selecting the check box changes the bill and pay hours column to match the scheduled hours.
2. Click Save.
Select the reason code. If the reason code requires a note, add additional details as needed.
3. Click Save.
Incorrect Bill/Pay Hours
If the employee worked less than the scheduled visit time but the calculated Bill/Pay Hours are incorrect:
1. Select the P->A check box.
Selecting the check box changes the bill and pay hours column to match the scheduled hours.

2. Click Save.
Select the reason code. If the reason code requires a note, add additional details as needed.
3. Click Save.
Bill/Pay Hours Need Adjustment
In situations such as the staff member arrived early, or the client needed to use the phone during the visit:
1. Select the Override check box.
2. Double click in the column needing adjustment.
Enter the new amount.
3. Click Save.
Select the reason code.
If the reason code requires a note, add additional details.
