Actual Hours More Than Scheduled Hours
An ‘Actual Hours More Than Scheduled Hours’ exception applies to visits where the caregiver has gone over the scheduled visit time. If the visit auto-confirm functionality is enabled, visits will still be confirmed, and the exception will still display.
Resolving an Actual Hours More Than Scheduled Hours Exception
Correct Bill/Pay Hours
If the employee worked more than the scheduled visit time but the calculated Bill/Pay Hours are correct:
1. Select the Ovrd (Override) check box.
2. Click Save.
Select the reason code if applicable.
3. Click Save.
Overridden hours are now visible on the screen in bold font.
Incorrect Bill/Pay Hours
If the employee worked more than the scheduled visit time but the calculated Bill/Pay Hours are incorrect:
1. Select the P->A check box.
Selecting the check box changes the bill and pay hours column to match the scheduled hours.
Note: This automatically selects the Ovrd (Override) check box. |
2. Click Save.
Select the reason code if applicable.
3. Click Save.
Bill/Pay Hours Need Adjustment
In situations such as the client was using the phone upon the staff member’s arrival or service began immediately:
1. Select the Ovrd (Override) check box.
2. Double click in the column needing adjustment.
Enter the new amount.
3. Click Save.
Select a reason code if applicable.
4. Click Save.
