Missed Visit
A ‘Missed Visit’ exception displays when the phone call was not received within the required time threshold established by the provider. The parameters for late visits are specified by the agency.
Resolving a Missed Visit Exception
First, check if there are any ‘Unknown Client’ or ‘Unknown Staff’ exceptions that indicate that the visit occurred or confirm with the field staff member that the visit was completed. If yes, follow the steps to resolve that exception.
If the visit was missed, follow the agency’s scheduling policy for either making up the visit or scheduling a new visit.
