Sandata I/DD DataPlus Release Notes May 6, 2025

What’s New in This Update

  • Fix (16659): This release includes the first round of fixes addressing recent reports related to password resets. Specifically, we've identified and resolved a bug where the "Force Password Reset" option was not being cleared after a user successfully updated their password.
    • With this update:
      • Users who change their password will no longer be repeatedly prompted to reset it if the "Force Password Reset" option had been previously enabled.
      • The setting now clears as expected following a successful password change.

Please note: This ticket will remain active to gather additional feedback and monitor post-release behavior. Further improvements may be reviewed based on continued user input.

  • Fix (16704): EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) End Call Type Handling in Manual Transactions. This release resolves an issue with how EVV End Call types were handled when manually entering EVV transactions, typically through Staff or Service Location Logs.
    • Previously the system assumed that both a begin and end date/time were entered at the time of transaction creation. It assigned both timestamps as manual and recorded the entry as an incoming call. If the end date/time was entered later, the system incorrectly treated it as an adjusted call, even when it was the initial entry for that field.
    • Now the system accurately identifies when an end date/time is first entered and correctly records it as a manual end call—not an adjustment.

This fix improves the accuracy of EVV call type classification in workflows where begin and end times may be manually entered at different points in time.

  • Fix (16686): Caregiver Checkbox Display Issue Resolved

We’ve fixed an issue where the Caregiver checkbox was not displaying correctly after being selected on the Task Screen, which led to confusion about whether the change had been applied.

  • With this update:
    • The checkbox now visually reflects its selected or unselected state immediately.
    • Users can confidently see when a selection has been made.

This fix improves clarity and usability on the Tasks Screen where the Caregiver checkbox is used.

  • Improvement (16699): We've addressed an issue in the system’s handling of errors related to EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) entries, specifically concerning Procedure Codes.

Previously, even when customers had not configured the recommended best practice flags—EVV Procedure Code Not Found and Two or More Procedure Codes Found—the system was not reliably managing these error scenarios. This could result in incomplete or incorrect processing of EVV entries.

  • With this update:
    • The system now correctly identifies and handles missing or ambiguous Procedure Codes
    • Error handling has been made more robust, even in the absence of best practice flag configuration.
    • Agencies are still encouraged to enable the best practice flags to receive more specific alerts and simplify troubleshooting.
    • These improvements support greater accuracy in EVV data processing and help prevent billing or reporting disruptions.
