Sandata EVV 8.45 Release Notes

The updates for this June 26, 2025 release are described below. 

EVV Enhanced Only

• Restrict Reason Note to 256 Characters

In Visit Maintenance, there is now a 256-character limit when providing a Reason Note in the Reason Note field. This proactive validation allows users to correct input before submission, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive experience.

• Service Field Required when Creating Manual Visits

When creating a manual visit or manual call, the Service field is now required, ensuring all entries are complete and aligned with provider documentation standards. 

EVV, EVV Enhanced and Aggregator

• Reports with Reason Codes Now Include a Reason Code Legend  

All Reports with Reason Codes will now include a Legend at the end of the report defining the Reason Codes. These reports are used in both EVV and in Aggregator, and availability depends on program configuration.
The legend has been added to the following reports: 

• Visit Log Report
• Visit Verification Exception Report
• Informational Exceptions Report

Two reports are unchanged as they already included the Reason Code legend: 

• Visit Verification Activity Summary
• Auto Verification Details
