Sandata EVV 8.51 Release Notes December 17, 2025

This release delivers key reporting and system improvements to enhance accuracy, compliance, and user experience. Reporting updates include cleaner exports, data sources, and more reliable client and aggregator reporting. System enhancements focus on stronger security with individual logins, improved accessibility in scheduling and login workflows, cleaner audit histories, and required Start of Care date validation for compliance.

Reporting Enhancements

1. Informational Exceptions Report

  • Removed “Has Memo” and “Memo” fields from the export
  • Updated field labels for clarity:
    • Payroll Hours Changed → Bill Hours Changed 
    • CSV format will read "Primary_Phone_Number"

2. EVV Vendors and Providers Report

  • Corrected data source to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Reformatted report layout and export—no longer restricted to one account per page.

3. Report Requests Detail Report

  • Aggregator users with a single account now consistently appear in the report, regardless of account filtering during selection.

4. Active Clients Report

  • Improved reliability and compliance:
    • Improved consistency of the Account filter on the Active Clients Report.
    • Template Accounts are always excluded from the account count.
    • Applies regardless of how the report filter page is accessed.

System Enhancements

1. Improved Login and Password Reset Experience

  • Clearer screens and guidance for login and password reset.
  • Fewer failed login attempts and password reset issues.
  • Enhanced accessibility and ADA compliance for an inclusive experience. (This update also reduces support team burden by minimizing unnecessary calls.)

2. Enhanced Security with Individual Logins

  • Strengthened security and compliance by replacing shared credentials with individual Entra ID (Azure AD) authentication for Santrax access.
  • Every action is now traceable to the correct user, eliminating shared account risks.
  • Key benefits:
    • Sign in using your own work login (Azure AD credentials).
    • Access limited to approved groups managed by your organization’s security team.
    • Shared accounts removed, closing compliance gaps and improving audit consistency. (This adds significant business value through risk mitigation and consistent auditing.)

3. Improved Scheduling Accessibility and Workflow

  • Scheduling module updated for ADA compliance and better accessibility, including keyboard navigation.
  • Key improvements:
    • Save schedules immediately after overriding events for faster workflows.
    • Consistent, accessible experience across all states.
    • Supports compliance and usability for all users.

4. Cleaner Audit History for Memo Tab

  • Audit logs now record changes only when edits occur—viewing the tab no longer creates unnecessary entries.
  • Benefits:
    • Cleaner visit history.
    • Easier audit reviews.
    • Improved user trust and clarity.

5. Start of Care Date Validation on Client Activation

  • SOC date is now required when activating a client in Sandata EVV.
  • Ensures compliance, data integrity, and accuracy across workflows.
  • Prevents reporting errors and supports trust in BI/Analytics reporting.
